When Anixter decided to develop a new channel strategy to promote one of its major supplier's new e-business solutions, it contacted CARNAC. CARNAC's objectives included recruiting new resellers and repositioning the new solutions within Anixter's existing channel. We were also required to promote the supplier's new brand image and promote its new mid-range product. To reach the different reseller targets, CARNAC developed direct mail campaigns. These were printed in 5 languages and sent to several thousands of resellers across Europe. A follow-up telemarketing campaign was then carried out, in 5 different languages, to generate direct sales calls, assess the levels of interest and plan the subsequent actions required. This project was successfully completed in under two months and Anixter is now going ahead with CARNAC for Phase II of its channel marketing strategy.
